Human beings are not perfect, but computers are. Humans strive for perfection, trying to improve more and more in the course of their experiences. Thus, they create imperfect machines, always in need of human design and maintenance. Machine and man live in a total symbiosis.
This album is the result of two completely different “modus operandi”: u-mano u-dito composes his sounds through live coding and interpolation of deterministic functions; naotodate, instead, uses the sound matter in alchemic way, mixing it with analog and digital effects. Both of them, together, give birth and feed the sounds generated by the other; raising, transforming and killing them.

Gli esseri umani non sono perfetti ma i calcolatori si. Gli umani tendono alla perfezione, cercando di migliorare sempre più nel corso delle proprie esperienze conoscitive. Creano così macchine imperfette, bisognose di progettazione e manutenzione umana. Macchina e uomo vivono in simbiosi totale.

L’album è il risultato tra due modus operandi completamente differenti: u-mano u-dito compone attraverso il live coding e l’interpolazione di funzioni deterministiche; naotodate usa alchemicamente la materia sonora mischiandola agli effetti analogici o digitali.
Ognuno ha dato in pasto e in parto i suoni generati dall’altro, li ha cresciuti, li a trasformati e li ha uccisi.
Una lettera è un numero, un sentimento è un codice.
